Bradley Cooper’s picked another interesting film for himself, as a successful author who’s been stealing someone else’s ideas. Here’s the first poster for The Words…
It would have been really easy for Bradley Cooper, off the back of the success of The Hangover movies, to have taken a succession of commercial roles, and sat back and counted the cash. Yet whilst he retains his high profile, and is happy to indulge in the odd sequel, what’s been impressive is how broad and risky some of his choices have been.
His current project, Paradise Lost, is sadly stuck in limbo whilst the budget is worked out, but last year we had the surprise hit, Limitless, which – save for the last 15 minutes or so – we had an awful lot of time for.
But have a look at what he’s got lined up next. The Words is a project that’s making its debut at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival, and it sees Cooper playing an author who’s at the height of his success. The problem? That he’s been using the memories of another writer for his work, and that’s inevitably going to come back to bite him.
Zoe Saldana co-stars in the film, which is directed by Lee Sternthal and Brian Klugman. And we think this maiden poster for is really rather smart.
