Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch's role in JJ Abrams' Star Trek sequel might just have become a little clearer...
Yesterday, you might have read the following words on a seemingly highly reliable web-based repository of entertainment news. They were in relation to Benedict Cumberbatch’s casting in JJ Abrams’ upcoming Star Trek sequel:
“His role in the film is undisclosed as of now. We doubt he’s stepped into Benicio Del Toro’s shoes as the villain, though.”
The writer of those words is clearly a nonsensical fool. Because it’s now been reported that Cumberbatch will indeed be playing the villain in the new film, and he will indeed be stepping into the shoes originally planned for Benicio Del Toro.
