The release date for Paranormal Activity 4 has now been officially announced. It doesn't take much guesswork to puzzle out when to expect it...
Earlier this week, Paramount confirmed that it was, as widely expected, pressing ahead with a fourth Paranormal Activity movie, with the assumption being that we’d be getting it around Halloween 2012.
The franchise has, after all, assumed the old Saw slot, and we can see further sequels being churned out for a good few years yet. Or, at least for as long as they can come up with slightly different ways to have cameras pointing at a room, and then get footage from said cameras to be discovered at a later date. Shouldn’t be too tricky.
Anyway, a formal release date for the new film has been announced, and, as expected, it’s an October release. Specifically, Paramount will be rolling out Paranormal Activity 4 on 19th October.
We’ve no word yet on who’s set to direct the film, but given the fact that the last two sequels have been put together in a matter of months, that’s unlikely to be a massive concern.
