Within 24 hours, the first official trailer for Peter Jackson's films of The Hobbit will be with us. And, as is customary, we're being teased with a picture first.
Here then, friends, is a shot of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit, seemingly gazing at a horizon about to fill with internet commenters having their say on the first bits of footage. Don't be scared, Bilbo.
