It looks like the second trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises might just be turning up next month...
When it was revealed last month that a six minute prologue for The Dark Knight Rises would be playing before IMAX screenings of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, we dared to venture that there might, too, be a full trailer for Christopher Nolan’s new Batman flick around the same time. It might even arrive attached to Warner Bros’ winter blockbuster, Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows.
Usually, as regular readers well know, if we make a prediction like that, then it’s doomed never to happen. But friends! We might just have found the exception to that rule.
According to Batman-On-Film, their sources are telling them that a new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will indeed be arriving in December, and it will indeed be playing attached to the new Sherlock Holmes film. That would mean that you could expect the new trailer around December 16th, and it’d likely come along the week after.
We’ll keep you posted on this, and not just because it’s very rare that we actually get one right…
