New pictures: The Dark Knight Rises shooting in New York

We’re into pretty much the last leg of the shoot for Christoper Nolan’s Batman swansong, The Dark Knight Rises. The production is now filming in New York City, and was on the streets over the weekend.

Unsurprisingly, therefore, some new pictures of the shoot have popped up. Here, then, we see a dapper-looking Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. It’s still, rightly, a mystery as to where Gordon-Levitt fits into the film. The cop outfit here might be a solid clue, though.

The Dark Knight Rises turns up in cinemas on 20th July 2012.
