More problems for Lionsgate's troubled adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel, as Craig Gillespie is the latest director to leave the project.
The adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel Pride And Prejudice And Zombies has hit further troubles as Craig Gillespie (Lars And The Real Girl and the recent Fright Night remake) is the latest director to bow out of the project.
Previous directors to leave have included David O Russell and Mike White. Sadly the project hasn't had much luck in the casting department either, with a number of Hollywood’s top young female stars passing on the role.
The casting of the project is reportedly the reason behind this latest departure, and with the likes of Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, Mia Wasikowska, Blake Lively and Natalie Portman turning down the leading role, whoever takes over is going to have a tough task on their hands.
When and if a director and cast is attached to the project, we’ll bring you an update.
