The strong ratings for AMC’s The Walking Dead season two thus far have no doubt made this particular decision easier. However, it's still good news: AMC has made the pleasing call to confirm a third season of the show.
We’d assume that this means another thirteen episode run is being ordered, although this will be the first season of the show put together with no involvement at all from former showrunner Frank Darabont.
Season three of The Walking Dead will screen in 2012, and season two continues its run right now…
