Even though it’s arriving in the midst of a collection of December blockbusters, namely The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, we’ve a sneaking suspicion that Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows may make more money than its rivals this Christmas.
The reasons? There’s the fact that the first film was a sizeable hit. There’s the Robert Downey Jr factor (and he's joined by Jude Law again, along with Noomi Rapace). And there’s the fact that it feels more like a wintery blockbuster than its rivals. There's even snow in it.
This new trailer also introduces us to Jared Harris as Moriarty, too, and it’s shaping up to a be a solid blockbuster.
