The Phantom Menace arrives back in cinemas in 3D in February. And the poster for it has just been unveiled…
Appreciating that there’s hardly a massive groundswell of people championing the return of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace to cinemas early next year, there’s still a case of credt where credit’s due. Because this poster for the re-release is not only really quite different to the original Phantom Menace artwork, but it’s really quite good, too.
For those uninterested in the 3D makeover that the film has had, too, do note the line at the bottom: “Select 2D Theaters”.
If The Phantom Menace re-release is a success then, as you may know, Lucasfilm is planning to roll the films out one year at a time. Which means the original trilogy will start hitting cinemas in 2015…
